Turtle Rock

Depth: 30-45m

Deep Rock Formation
45min Dive

About This Dive Site

Turtle Rock is an advanced dive site located at the bottom of Sinandigan Wall, where a giant rock formation sits at 45m depth. Despite its name, which comes from the shape of a surface rock that dive guides use to locate the site, you shouldn't expect to find turtles here. This site requires deep diver training due to its depth.

The site is home to various marine life including:

  • Sweetlips
  • Unusual Nudibranchs
  • Emperor Angel Fish
  • Thresher Sharks (occasionally)
  • Gorgonian Fans
  • Whip Corals

The rock formation is flourishing with diverse marine life, especially Gorgonian Fans and whip corals that sway gently in the currents. This deep site offers experienced divers a chance to see marine life that isn't commonly found in shallower waters. This is also one of the few dive sites in the area where lucky divers might spot a Thresher Shark, making it especially exciting for those seeking larger pelagic species.

Note: Advanced Open Water with Deep Specialty or equivalent required. This dive site reaches depths beyond recreational limits and requires appropriate training, equipment, and experience.
